Annual General Meeting Report 2022
“The value of one, the power of many.”
Designing the annual general meeting report for SCWIST starts from that the way you tell your story can make all the difference. Identifying the core idea we wanted members and stakeholders to take away. Using my editorial skills, I shaped that idea into a clear narrative: prioritizing what matters, structuring content for readability, and choosing design that balances precision with accessibility. I made sure facts and achievements were highlighted, context and impact were explained, and calls to action were visible. The result was an AGM report that not only recorded the year but told a compelling story of progress, engagement, and future opportunity.
40th Anniversary Video
The Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology (SCWIST) celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2021, marking four decades of advocacy, mentorship, and empowerment for women and girls in STEM fields across Canada. This milestone highlights SCWIST’s sustained efforts to increase inclusion, support career development, and create pathways for future generations.
This video was produced by SCWIST, they provided all the videography, and I completed the editing and final assembly. The finished piece honours SCWIST’s history, showcases stories of impact, and reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to equity in STEM.
